ATHLETIC PHYSICALS + PAY TO PARTICIPATE

BigTeams​

Starting in 2023, the school district introduced a new centralized program for students called BigTeams Student Central. This program will keep track of all required athletic forms and other important information about the student-athlete.

​

Before the first day of team practice, every athlete must upload a valid Physical (dated April 15, 2024, or later) and Consent Form to BigTeams. If you need help creating an account or to upload documents, please contact Angel Boven at 269-668-3361 ext 1495. More information about BigTeams can also be provided by Angel.

Helpful Tips for Parents when Creating a BigTeams Account

  • To begin, create a Parent Account and a corresponding Student Account. After linking the accounts, parents can easily switch between them to complete the necessary steps. It is important to create an account for each child in grades 6-12 who resides in the household.

  • If you're experiencing difficulties, verify which account you're currently using. It's possible that certain actions may not be available in the student account.

  • To access the Handbook form page, click on the handbook document and scroll down to the end. Two boxes will then appear one for the parent to initial that they've read the document and another for the student-athlete to put their initials in.

  • One advantage of this process is that you only need to set up the account once. After that, you must upload a physical for the new school year.

Physical / MHSAA Form

To participate in any Middle School sports activity during the 2024-2025 academic year, students must submit a physical dated April 15, 2024, or later. Along with a consent form, this physical should be uploaded to the BigTeams Student Central website. It's crucial to verify that the physical is valid for the upcoming school year.

Pay to Participate

At Mattawan Consolidated School, students are charged a single, yearly fee for sports participation. Only 7th and 8th graders in middle school are subject to this fee. To access information about the fees and payment options, please visit the school's website. - CLICK HERE
